The U-STEMist Scheme organised the Joint-university China STEM Study Visit between 25th June and 26th June. 33 students from 4 universities participated in the study visit and visited the following companies and schools in Shenzhen and Guangzhou:

• Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub

• School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology

• Shenzhen Kingdee Software Park

 

Through attending industrial talks and sample classes, students have gained insights on the development of STEM Education in mainland schools and learnt about the use of Building Information Modelling in the construction industry from the visit. They were happy about the arrangements for the visit and agreed that the trip broadened their horizons.​​
